Trina Anderson, Executive Director
Trina’s fondest memories of her childhood include lessons she learned from her grandparents. Her grandfather sold cars and ran his own dealership and her grandmother taught her the gift of unconditional love, baking sweet things and gardening. She began her career in senior living in 2009 at another BPM community in Oregon and then moved to Las Vegas, transferring to this very community in 2010 to be the Community Relations Director. Now, in 2017 she is returning as our Executive Director and couldn’t be more thrilled.
She took a break from the senior living industry for a short time as a Realtor specializing in working with seniors and received her SRES (Senior Real Estate Specialist) designation. She also started her own Senior Move Company where she assisted seniors in the downsizing of their home during the transition of moving into community living. Trina assisted with the coordination of the movers and helped decorate the resident’s new home to resemble their previous one. This gave her a unique opportunity to learn even more about the challenges that seniors face when making difficult life decisions like which community to choose and what to bring. To fulfill her dream and a promise made to her grandmother, Trina decided to return to senior living. She earned her Residential Facility Administrators License and worked at another community as their Executive Director before returning to Heritage Springs. She is excited to be part of the BPM Family again.
Trina lives in Las Vegas with her husband Craig. Between the two of them they have five beautiful children that they are very proud of and one cocker spaniel.
Latika Currenton, Activity Director
Latika began her career in the senior living industry in 2012 as a Dining Room Supervisor. She embraced the opportunity to volunteer in multiple departments throughout the community and learned quickly that she had a great passion for activities. In 2014 she accepted an Assistant Activity Director position and in 2017 she joined the Heritage Springs team as Director of Activities. Our residents greatly enjoy the variety of in-house activities and outings that Latika plans for them, all engaging the 7 Dimensions of Wellness. She is currently attending the College of Southern Nevada pursuing a career in Sonography. Her goal is to help seniors diagnose early signs of arthritis and other medical conditions that seniors are more likely to experience.
In her free time she enjoys traveling, spending time with family and meeting new people.
Celeste Anderson, Dining Services Director
Celeste has been the Dining Services Director at Heritage Springs since 2010. Originally from California, she began her career in dining services in 2000 at Willow Creek Assisted Living in Las Vegas. The experience was the perfect training ground that allowed Celeste to work side-by-side with some of the best chefs in the industry.
When not cooking exceptional meals, she enjoys spending time with her four children.
Kiel Hale, Community Relations Director
Kiel is a Las Vegas native, graduating from Green Valley High School. He traveled and worked throughout the Midwest for several years living in Kansas, Nebraska, Utah and Idaho before returning to Las Vegas in 2017 to be closer to his family. He began his career in senior living in 2014 and loves the stories and life lessons he gets to hear working closely with seniors and their families.
Kiel has two small boys and in his free time enjoys exercising, playing golf and volunteering in his local community.
Tami Miller, Community Outreach Director
Tami was born in Albany, New York. She was introduced to the senior living industry when she was 14 and became a "candy striper." She volunteered after school days to do tend to her grandmother and all of her friends at her grandmother's nursing home, Daughter's of Sarah.
After College she owned and operated her own rehabilitation clinic in Hawaii, taking care of patients and working with doctors and families to rehabilitate their family members. After a severe car accident, she sold her practice and moved into marketing and fundraising focusing on growing non-profits that served her local community.
After moving to Las Vegas she fostered and adopted her son, whom she is very proud of. Some of her favorite hobbies are hiking, swimming and spending time with friends. She believes that creating relationships and touching the heart of everyone she meets leads to a happy and rich life.
LeTeefia Norman, Memory Care Coordinator
LeTeefia began her senior living career as a dining room server in an Independent Living community in Chicago, Illinois. She moved back to her home state of Wyoming for a time and worked in a nursing facility as a server and activity assistant, learning all she could about how to best serve seniors. Her mother was a certified nursing assistant at the same facility and in 2001 LeTeefia also became a CNA where she provided direct care to their residents every day. For a time LeTeefia considered becoming a pharmacist, but realized that she would miss the joy and fulfillment she receives from working with seniors and their families directly. In 2016 she moved to Nevada and is now proud to be an integral part of the memory care program at Heritage Springs. In her free time LeTeefia enjoys spending time with her three children and her grandson.
Marjolijn Kirby, Business Office Manager
As our Business Office Manager, Marjolijn is primarily responsible for accounts receivable, accounts payable, processing payroll, new hire paperwork, and other business office functions at our community. Marjolijn began her career in the senior living industry in 2012 at Destination Oakey. She was there for three years and assisted them through the transition from Destinations Oakey Independent Living to Oakey Assisted living. During this transition she gained a vast knowledge of assisted living in all areas and aspects. Marjolijn also has a background in social services, having coordinated employment transportation for low income individuals, and as a case manager for the Arizona TANF program. Marjolijn enjoys traveling, cooking, and entertaining. Marjolijn is married and has an English Bulldog named Diesel who is spoiled rotten.
Abraham Peralta, Building Services Director
Abraham was born in Obregon Sonora Mexico but moved to California shortly after he was born. When he was still very small his family moved to Las Vegas where he has lived ever since. Abraham has worked in the maintenance field since 2003. He started as a Maintenance Assistant at a skilled nursing home and has been a Maintenance Director heading his own department since 2015. He enjoys serving the residents of Heritage Springs doing whatever he can to make their days brighter.
When he is not working Abraham enjoys spending time with his family which includes six children – 2 girls and 4 boys! He and his family like to host barbeques and watch movies together whenever possible.
