BPM Senior Living's community, corporate and executive staff takes great pride in developing and successfully operating 17 premier senior living communities in 7 states. Much of our success is due to our strong executive, operations, development and marketing management teams who lead the way in successfully planning for growth while maintaining high quality standards of operation.

Walter C. Bowen, Chief Executive Office and Founder

Walter Bowen draws upon his 25 years of experience in senior housing and general real estate to lead the BPM Senior Living executive team. He has adopted a strong, centralized management style that encourages independent decision-making by department leaders, regional and community managers. This forward-thinking philosophy allows BPM staff to respond quickly to resident needs. Mr. Bowen has been involved in the development, ownership and management of Assisted Living communities since 1986 and has devoted the majority of his time to the ownership and operation of those communities. He has also been the Chief Executive Officer of several related companies, including Bowen Property Management Company, Bowen Financial Services Corp., a company formed to obtain financing for real estate development projects, and Bowen Development Company, a real estate construction company. Walter Bowen attended the University of Oregon and is a graduate of Portland State University. He also served on the Board of Directors of the Assisted Living Communities Association of America and on the advisory board for the National Investment Conference for the Senior Living and Long Term Care Industries.

Dennis Parfitt, President

Dennis P. Parfitt, CPM, CMCA®, AMS, is the President of BPM Senior Living Company and President of affiliate Bowen Property Management Co. (BPMC), an Accredited Management Organization® (AMO®) in Portland, Oregon. BPM Senior Living is responsible for the management and leasing of senior lifestyle communities in seven Western states.

Mr. Parfitt has more than 25 years of experience managing, leasing and operating residential investment properties. He is responsible for an operating portfolio of over 50 properties consisting of conventional apartments, luxury condominium developments, senior independent retirement communities and assisted living and memory care communities. He assists the companies in the development of new construction projects and the acquisition of new business opportunities. Prior to joining BPM Senior Living and BPMC, he was General Manager and Director of Operations for Forest City Management, Inc., West Coast Divisional Operations based in Los Angeles.

Mr. Parfitt is a graduate of California State University in Los Angeles. He is actively involved with the Institute of Real Estate Management® (IREM®) and is a Certified Property Manager® (CPM®), a member of the Community Associations Institute (CAI) and is a Certified Manager of Community Associations® (CMCA®) and Association Management Specialist (AMS), an Oregon licensed Administrator of Assisted Living Facilities and member of the Oregon Health Care Association and holds a real estate brokerage license in both Oregon and Washington.

Dan Lamey, Chief Operating Officer

Dan Lamey is the Chief Operating Officer for BPM Senior Living Co. BPM Senior Living manages 17 senior living communities in seven Western states and the portfolio includes independent living, assisted living and memory care communities. Mr. Lamey is responsible for the day-to-day operations as well as strategic planning for the portfolio.

Mr. Lamey began his career in the senior living industry with Regent Assisted Living in 1996 as its Acquisitions Manager. He was named the Acquisitions and Development Manager in 1999 and has been involved in the acquisition, development and opening of nearly 40 senior living communities in the Western United States. In 2003, Mr. Lamey was named the Director of Operations for BPM Senior Living Company and was promoted to Executive Vice President that same year.

Mr. Lamey graduated from Santa Clara University with a degree in Finance. He is actively involved with the Assisted Living Federation of America (ALFA), the Oregon Health Care Association (OHCA) and the Alzheimer’s Association. Mr. Lamey currently serves in various advisory and operations leadership committees, has been a contributor in the Assisted Living Executive magazine and a presenter at the national ALFA conference.

Kris Brock, Vice President and Regional Director

Kris Brock joined Regent Assisted Living in October 1997 as Executive Director of Sheldon Park Assisted Living in Eugene, Oregon. While the community was still under construction, she was responsible for all start-up activities including hiring and training a management team – several of whom are still in place.

Ms. Brock assumed a regional role when Regent resumed management of Regency Park in Portland and Regent Court in Corvallis. She now oversees the three Oregon communities, Overlake Terrace in Redmond, Washington and Sunshine Villa in Santa Cruz, California. She has administrator's licenses in both California and Oregon. Her Washington license is in process.

Ms. Brock graduated from the University of Oregon with BS degrees in Sociology, History and English. She also has MS degrees in Community Service and Public Affairs and Gerontology.

Barbra Page RN, BC-LNC, Director of Health Care Services

Barbra Page is the Director of Health Care Services for all assisted living and memory care communities for the company. Ms. Page is responsible for the coordination of the overall health and wellness of our community residents. She also designed and implemented the corporate training curriculum, to include any enhanced training for the current staff.

Ms. Page has more than 20 years experience in Health Care settings for seniors, with primary focus and expertise in assisted living and memory care communities. She is a Registered Nurse and has been Board Certified in Gerontology since 1993. She also graduated with honors in professional studies from Kaplan Law with a degree in Legal Nurse Consulting. Prior to joining BPM Senior living, she was the Disease Management Nurse for Washington State Community Management Program for Spokane County; which provided home assessments and coordination of services for the elderly and mental health clients.
